Business Analyst

Duties: Performs process analysis of customer activities to determine process improvement opportunities. develops and maintains comprehensive documentation of complex business requirements in conjunction with documented support procedures, analyses and documents complex business problems and provide recommendations based on research of industry trends, business products, performance analysis for optimal business solutions. educates it employees on business vision and plan and both it and business employees on the impact of changes and support, working as a bridge between the two. works with other departments to coordinate interdepartmental activities in order to ensure that it meets customer expectations. leads problem resolution as needed to ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies. prepare user documentation and training materials. provides technical training and user support to business groups. develops communication plans and related activities. communicates with both internal and external customers and it on break/fix status, e.g. vendors, business partners, information technology and owning the break/fix ticket from beginning to end resolution using the tool remedy. performs special projects as requested. gather complete information of request or incident from users provides initial troubleshooting. assign remedy tickets depending on resolution requirement, updates remedy tickets. Requirements: Required Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, Information Technology or related field. Required 1 year of experience in job offered, Software Consultant, IT Engineer or related. Required experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Agile and Toad. Required 50% national travel.
